Türkiye incorporates development projects into the new education curriculum

In the Turkish Century Education Model, various content related to Türkiye's Century development projects will be covered alongside existing domain skills in subjects like Turkish language and literature, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, philosophy, geography, history, natural sciences, social studies, human rights, citizenship and democracy classes.

For example, the life of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founding history of the Republic of Türkiye, and its development initiatives will be incorporated into the Republic History and Kemalism course.

Students will present research reports within the classroom, focusing on topics such as national industrial initiatives and technological advancements.

Furthermore, in Turkish language production workshops, students will research and prepare presentations on Turkish scientists, athletes, and artists who have excelled nationally and internationally.

Space, Blue Homeland, Climate Action plans

The education system will also emphasize Türkiye's achievements in space exploration, particularly discussing the country's first astronaut Alper Gezeravci and its participation in international space initiatives.

In geography classes, the strategic significance of Türkiye's geographical position will be highlighted, along with discussions on maritime rights and responsibilities, especially regarding the Blue Homeland doctrine.

Additionally, lessons will delve into the nation's climatic projections and its Climate Change Action Plan.

In biology, students will explore projects contributing to Türkiye's vision for the century, including initiatives focused on ecosystem conservation, while chemistry classes will discuss projects related to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear detection systems.

Physics classes will examine Türkiye's contributions to scientific research, with discussions on organizations like CERN and NASA.

Moreover, topics such as sustainable agriculture and defense industry advancements including unmanned vehicles and renewable energy initiatives will be integrated into the curriculum.

Overall, the curriculum aims to align education with Türkiye's developmental goals and foster critical thinking and innovation among students.
