German police bar PKK demonstrations in Berlin

German police Saturday intervened and stopped the demonstration staged by supporters of the terrorist organization PKK in Berlin.
Germany, a NATO ally of Türkiye, designated the PKK as a terrorist organization in 1993 and banned the display of PKK-related symbols during demonstrations.
A group of 10 supporters of the PKK terrorist organization gathered at Alexanderplatz Square in the capital Berlin, and despite the ban, unfurled a flag with the image of the organization's leader Abdullah Ocalan.
The Berlin police intervened, not permitting the illegal demonstration and dispersing the organization's supporters.
Similarly, the European Union (EU) has acknowledged the PKK as a terrorist organization since 2004.
Despite this, the PKK terrorist organization conducts propaganda activities in many European countries, further escalating tensions in Türkiye-EU relations.
The intervention of the Berlin police against supporters of the PKK terrorist organization came after Steinmeier's visit, indicating that cooperation could also be established against PKK's terrorist propaganda in Europe.
