Protesters call for Gaza cease-fire at McDonald's branches across Netherlands

Groups protested against Israel's attacks on Gaza demonstrated in front of McDonald's branches in various Dutch cities.

With chants like "McDonald's finances, Israel bombs," "Free Palestine," "Stop the genocide in Gaza," and "Netanyahu is a terrorist," demonstrators made their voices heard.

Pro-Palestinian groups also organized simultaneous demonstrations in front of McDonald's branches in other cities.

Carrying banners denouncing Israel and McDonald's, the group congregated in front of the company's headquarters in Rotterdam. They displayed Palestinian flags and banners with messages such as "McDonald's supports genocide," "Do you want extra fries with your genocide?" and "Gaza is under attack."

Additionally, they distributed leaflets about Israel's massacres in Gaza to passersby.

Subjected to Boycott

McDonald's, known for its support of Israel's massacres in Gaza, faced significant backlash on social media. Global boycott calls ensued, resulting in substantial losses for the company.

Chris Kempczinski, McDonald's Chief Executive Officer, acknowledged the impact of the boycott against the company's support for Israel, particularly noting the substantial losses incurred, especially in Islamic countries.
