Erdogan had visited the performer in his house on July 4.

Gogebakan will be buried in Turkey’s southern province of Adana, his hometown, on Saturday.

He was born in 1968 and studied music in Ankara State Conservatoire. The performer had won many awards, including best singer of the year 1996 and also best-selling album of 1996.
