Warner Bros. has picked up domestic distribution for Russell Crowe’s period drama The Water Diviner. The studio has set an April 24, 2015 release date.

Penned by Andrew Knight and Andrew Anastasios, The Water Diviner is being produced by Andrew Mason and Troy Lum for Hopscotch Features and by Keith Rodger for Fear of God Films.

Brett Ratner's RatPac Entertainment, Seven Network Australia and private investors were among the financiers.
