Turkey to donate 6 ambulances to Djibouti

Turkey will donate six fully equippedambulances to Djibouti, according to an agreement signed by both countries Tuesday.
The protocol was signed in Ankara by Turkish Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu and his counterpart Kassim Issak Osman.
We have also taken steps for (the establishment of) a 50-bed children's hospital, Muezzinoglu said, adding the project would be launched in the near future as a location was still being sought.
The Turkish minister said that cooperation between Turkey and Djibouti had improved since the signing of a Health Cooperation Agreement in 2012.
The Djiboutian health minister said that an agreement had been reached, which stipulates that patients with diseases, which cannot be treated in the small East African nation, would be brought to the Turkish capital Ankara.
Turkeys relations with Djibouti, a country which boasts an estimated population of less than a million and located in the Horn of Africa, have been developing steadily in recent years, with embassies opened in 2012 and 2013 respectively.
