Favoring Israeli barbarism is inconceivable says PM Erdogan
Turkey's PM said the world's so-called democratic countries support for Israel's barbaric behavior in its 16 day onslaught, are inconceivable.

Erdogan speaking at a rally in the southern city of Adana on Wednesday, said “We will continue to remind the world of human values and the blood of the innocent Palestinian infants and children,” adding “Turkey will continue to call a spade a spade and will raise its voice against Israeli brutalities in Gaza.”

Erdogan claimed certain external powers and Turkey’s opposition is upset at the outcry of the Turkish government against Israeli aggression in Gaza, but he said, "Turkey will never be a sentry for Israel. Now Turkey does not apologise but makes tyrants apologise for their heinous crimes.”

Erdogan expressed his hopes for a halt to the ongoing bombardment over Gaza on the Muslim holy night of Qadr which falls on Wednesday night.

Turkey broke off all relations with Israel after the Mavi Marmara incident where Israeli soldiers killed 10 activists including nine Turkish nationals on a Gaza-bound humanitarian aid flotilla in 2010.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu apologised for the Israeli attack on the Mavi Marmara aid flotilla fulfilling one of the three pre-requisites of Turkey to normalize relations between the two countries.

The payment for compensation to the families of the victims of the attack and the lifting of the embargo and blockade of Gaza were the other conditions. Negotiations on the issue of compensation are still ongoing but Israel failed to fulfil the lifting of the embargo and the blockade of Gaza yet.

The Palestinian death toll from Israel's military offensive against the Gaza Strip rose to 678 on Wednesday following fresh Israeli attacks on the blockaded enclave, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
