Spanish football team star breaks a new record by scoring 15 goals in European league's first eight weeks.

Spanish football team star went down in the domestic league history by scoring 15 goals in the first eight weeks of the season, on Monday.

Cristiano Ronaldo, of the team Real Madrid, now holds the record for the most goals scored in the initial eight weeks of play for the national organization, La Liga.

The record had formerly belonged to Esteban Echevarria playing for Real Oviedo in 1943-44 football season. Echevarria managed to score 14 goals in the first eight weeks of La Liga at that time.

The Portuguese "powerhouse" of Real Madrid is followed by two Barcelona skippers, Neymar da Silva Santos Junior scoring 8 goals and Lionel Messi finding the net 7 times.
