Bayern Munich interested in Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus
Bayern Munich's chief executive officer, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, expressed interest in Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus on Tuesday.

According to reports in German newspaper Bild, Rummenigge confirmed his club's interest in the German international.

"We are interested in Borussia Dortmund's German international Marco Reus. We are going to discuss the matter calmly within the club and then we will decide. In the end, the player must make the decision as well," the Bayern Munich CEO said.

Having spoken to German magazine Sportbild about the German international in April, Rummenigge pointed out that Reus will be free when his minimum release fee, valued at €25 million, is paid.

News reports also speculated that Reus could leave Borussia Dortmund next summer if they fail to win the title this season.

Bavarian giants and reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have previously signed two Borussia Dortmund aces: German attacking midfielder Mario Gotze in July of 2013 and Polish striker Robert Lewandowski at the start of this season.
