Death toll rises to 24 in Aegean Sea boat accident
Coast guards found bodies of 24 people after a boat carrying them sank in the international waters of the Aegean Sea on Wednesday.
A speed boat carrying 30 illegal migrants sank 10 miles offshore from Tavakli village in Turkey's northwestern Canakkale province for an unknown reason. Coast guards arrived at the scene found the bodies of 24. Search and rescue efforts are still under way with the help of boats, planes and helicopters.
