Turkish Airlines’ 16-hour non-stop flight to Argentina, carrying Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has been the longest flight of THY. On Saturday night (Turkish local time),  the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will announce the host of the 2020 Summer Games in Argentina. Erdogan left Russia where he attended the two-day G-20 summit on Friday, and arrived in Argentina early Saturday morning to lead high-level delegation to convince IOC members into electing Istanbul as venue of 2020 games.
