The volume of loans from the Turkish banking sector increased to 1.07 trillion Turkish liras (506 billion) in the week ending June 20, Turkey's central bank said in its weekly bulletin Thursday.

While the credit volume stood at 1.07 trillion Turkish lira ($503 billion) as of June 13, it increased by 4.7 billion Turkish lira ($2.2 billion) in a week.

The overall credit volume, excluding financials, totaled 1.05 trillion Turkish lira ($496.05 billion).
