The Turkish Treasury has posted a cash balance deficit of 2.45 billion Turkish liras ($1.15 billion) for January-August period.
According to provisional figures released Friday, the Treasurys cash revenues were 274.9 billion liras, while its non-interest expenditures were 252.6 billion liras.
The deficit came after an interest payment of 32 billion liras, officials said in a statement.
The Treasury has also posted a cash balance surplus of 21.8 billion Turkish liras ($10.1 billion) for August.
