Turkey condemns attack on Russian embassy in Tripoli

The Turkish Foreign Ministry on Sunday condemned the attack on Russia's embassy in the Libyan capital Tripoli. "We condemn the attack on Russia's embassy in Tripoli which caused the transfer of all its embassy staff members," the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The statement also noted "we know that whoever conducted the attack does not represent the people of Libya." On Wednesday, a group of gunmen fired shots in the air before setting a part of the building on fire.
