Turkey to supply missiles to US warplane F-35

Turkey made SOM missile will be used in world's most advanced warplane F-35.
Turkey's Roketsan and American Lockheed Martin Missile and Launching Control Department will sign a cooperation protocol in Ankara tomorrow.
Turkey made SOM-J will also be used in 100 Joint Assault F-35 Planes to be purchased by Turkey from the United States.
The design and ownership rights of the SOM and SOM-J missile will completely remain with Turkey and the missile will be used in the countries included in the JSF Project.
Moreover, joint marketing will be done for the missiles to be used on platforms other than F-35.
