Three-nil win sees Yellow Canaries pull seven points clear of chasers Besiktas.

Matchday 26 in the Turkish Spor Toto Super League finished on Monday with league leaders Fenerbahce recording a 3-0 win in a critical away match against Gaziantepspor.

The Yellow Canaries increased the points gap at the top of the league to seven. Fenerbahce's Nigerian forward Emmanuel Emenike played an important role for the Istanbul club, finding back of the net twice. The league leaders’ third goal was scored by Senegalese striker Moussa Sow.

Besiktas climbed to runner-up position thanks to their 3-0 victory against Akhisar Belediyespor at home on Sunday. Scorers for Besiktas were Turkish-Austrian midfielder Veli Kavlak, Turkish forward Mustafa Pektemek and Canadian defensive midfielder Atiba Hutchinson. 

Galatasaray suffered a shocking defeat at the Turk Telekom Arena on Saturday night. Kayserispor hit the Istanbul team from a counter-attack in injury time, winning the game 1-0, Argentinian forward Pablo Mouche's single goal coming in the dying minutes.
