Manchester United's Scottish manager David Moyes is sacked after poor results in the league.

English Premier League side Manchester United sacked their Scottish manager David Moyes Tuesday after receiving poor results in the league. On the website of the "Red Devils" it announced that 50-year-old manager David Moyes left the club and the English giants United thanked him for the hard work, honesty and integrity he brought to the role.

United, who lost 11 matches in total in the league until matchday 34, was lastly beaten 2-0 by Everton in an away match on Sunday. 

Defending champions of the English Premier League Manchester United, who are now 23 points behind the league leaders Liverpool, are staying in 7th place with 57 points in the league table.  

Manchester United, who let their fans down due to their poor performance in the league this season, may be unable to qualify for the European challenge next season.
