Turkish club Trabzonspor toppled Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkiv 2-1 with a late winning goal in UEFA Europa League Group L match played at Arena Lviv on Thursday night.

The away team Trabzonspor's Guinean defensive midfielder Kevin Constant headed the ball towards the goal in the six yard box from a corner kick allowing Trabzonspor to take the lead in the game, 1-0.

In the 40th minute, Metalist's Brazilian attacking midfielder Cleiton Xavier's drive from outside the area was tipped by Turkish team's goalkeeper Onur Kivrak.

Home team Metalist equalised the level with Ukrainian forward Volodymyr Homenyuk's header in the 61st minute, with a 1-1 score.

In the last minute of injury time, Trabzonspor scored the winning goal as a last ditch attempt when their Greek centre-back Avraam Papadopoulos found the net from close range after his teammate Mustapha Yatabare headed on a freekick, clinching victory for the Turkish side.

In another group L match, Polish club Legia Warsaw beat Belgium's Lokeren 1-0 in Poland.
