Trabzonspor's Turkish goalkeeper Onur Recep Kivrak, will be out of action for six months after suffering a knee injury during the UEFA Europa League match against Poland's Legia Warsaw on Thursday night.

Club doctor Hakan Bozdogan said in a written statement on Friday that after MRI scans, the Turkish international's anterior cruciate ligaments in his left knee have been ruptured so he will need to undergo surgery. Bozdogan added that Onur will be able to start training in six months’ time should the surgery be a success.

The 26-year-old Trabzonspor captain, who is regarded as one of the most talented goalkeepers in Turkey, has been playing for his club since January 2008.
