FC Barcelona's star forward Luis Suarez said Wednesday he was looking forward to the UEFA Champions League group game against his former team Ajax, but would not celebrate if he scored.

The Uruguayan star, who now plays for the Spanish La Liga giants, gave the remarks at a press conference before the game begins Wednesday night.

He said he "can't wait" for the big game. "It will be a very special match for me," he said.

Emphasizing that Ajax had an important impact on him, Suarez said: "I learned lots of things in there and developed myself. If I score my first goal at 'Barca,' the pressure on me would be removed, but I will not celebrate as I respect my former team. I still have an emotional tie with the club."

The Uruguayan international scored 111 goals in 158 matches with Ajax between 2007 and 2011.
