Belgium qualified for the quarter finals in the ongoing Euro 2016 tournament by beating Hungary 4-0 at the Stadium de Toulouse in France late Sunday.

Belgium defender Toby Alderweireld's header helped his team take the lead against Hungary in the 10th minute, 1-0.

The Tottenham defender was assisted by midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, who whipped a cross from a free kick.

Belgians doubled the score in the 78th minute when forward Michy Batshuayi made a closed-range finish, 2-0.

Two minutes later, Belgium scored the third goal. Chelsea star Eden Hazard skipped three Hungarian defenders and put the ball into the corner of the goal, 3-0.

In injury time, Belgium midfielder Yannick Carrasco sent the ball into the Hungary net on breakaway, 4-0.

Belgians have easily bagged the ticket for the last eight.

Belgium will now meet Wales in its quarter final showdown in Lille on Friday.

The round 16 phase of the tournament will end on Monday.
