Mark Zuckerberg starts book club for 2015
Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has made a 2015 New Year’s resolution to read a book every other week.

Zuckerberg, who has more than 30 million followers on Facebook, invited users to follow his challenge by reading the same books as him and join his book club “A Year of Books.”

The book club already has more than 85,000 likes on Facebook and could become the world’s largest book club.

“Books allow you to fully explore a topic and immerse yourself in a deeper way than most media today,” Zuckerberg said on his Facebook page on Saturday. “I'm looking forward to shifting more of my media diet towards reading books.”

While the group’s first book of the year will be “The End of Power” by Moises Naim, hundreds of Facebook users from across the world commented on Zuckerberg’s Facebook page, urging him to read the Holy Quran, the sacred Islamic scripture.

Zuckerberg’s previous New Year's resolutions include learning Mandarin Chinese, only eating meat that he killed himself and wearing a tie everyday.
