Heavy fog stops traffic in Istanbul’s Bosphorus strait

Heavy fog has halted sea traffic in Istanbul’s Bosphorus strait between the Black Sea and Anadolu Kavagi, Turkish authority announced Sunday.

The traffic was disrupted due to poor visibility, Directorate General of Security Istanbul said.

Istanbul’s Bosphorus strait is one of the busiest sea routes in the region.
