According to the diplomatic source, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking with the media, Turkish Ambassador Devrim Ozturk is expected to arrive in the capital Ankara Thursday.

On Wednesday, Turkish Foreign Ministry in a written statement had also strongly condemned the execution of Motiur Rahman Nizami.

Nizami was hanged at the Dhaka Central Jail Wednesday after he was convicted for committing atrocities during Bangladesh’s war of independence with Pakistan in 1971.
