HDP lawmakers in Turkey attend terrorist funeral

Photographs showed Dirayet Tasdemir and Berdan Ozturk, who represent the eastern province of Agri for the party, and Rohat Ozbay, the mayor of Dogubeyazit, at the burial of Adem Ozkan, who was one of five terrorists killed attempting to launch an attack on a gendarmerie base in neighboring Van province on June 28.

They were seen among mourners carrying a coffin draped in PKK colors at the funeral in Dogubeyazit near the Iranian border.

Members of the HDP have previously been criticized for attending PKK funerals and making supportive comments about the terror group.
