Turkish forces eliminate 5 PKK terrorists in Iraq

The Ministry of National Defense released a statement emphasizing the continued determination and resolve in ongoing operations.
The statement highlighted that 5 PKK terrorists, detected in the Pence-Kilit Operation area in northern Iraq, have been neutralized.
"We continue our fight against terrorism and terrorists with all our might for our beloved homeland," the ministry added.
The PKK has waged a terror campaign against Türkiye for over 35 years, resulting in the deaths of over 40,000 people, including women, children and infants.
The organization is recognized as a terrorist group by Türkiye, the U.S. and the European Union.
Türkiye has consistently raised concerns regarding the tolerance extended to the PKK and its supporters across Europe.
