Murat Tutanc, the head of the Bursa branch of the Turkish Red Crescent, underscored the organization's global outreach efforts during Ramadan.

"Turkish Red Crescent operates in many parts of the world during Ramadan. One hand is in Palestine, one is in Africa, and one is in Erbil," Tutanc stated.

In addition to food aid, the humanitarian organization also distributed clothing to those in need at the camp.

Tutanc further mentioned a daily provision of 2,500 loaves of bread as part of their assistance efforts.

Eray Akkaya, acting president of the Turkish Red Crescent Iraq delegation, confirmed earlier that food aid would continue for 5,000 families across Iraq throughout Ramadan.
