Turkish army footage shows airstrike on terror vehicle

Turkish Armed Forces shared on Saturday footage of Friday's airstrike on the Zap region of northern Iraq.

The footage shared with the media captures the moment when the Turkish army hit an explosive-laden vehicle parked on a road in the countryside.

Six terrorists around the vehicle were neutralized during the airstrike and then the vehicle was hit.

Turkish authorities often use the word "neutralized" in their statements to imply the terrorists in question either surrendered or were killed or captured.

The explosion and the ball of flame that erupted after the vehicle was hit indicated that it was loaded with ammunition and explosives.
