Algerian president returns home after 2 months treatment

Bouteflika has been hospitalized in France for more than 2 months for temporary ischemic attack. Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal and accompanying ministers welcomed Bouteflika at Boufarik a military air base. Bouteflika, who began a third term in 2009 following a constitutional amendment allowing him to stand again, was transported to French military hospital Val de Grace in Paris on April 28, 2013.  Bouteflika's condition has prompted opposition demands for early elections.
