5 people killed in heavy flood in Hatay

5 people were killed,12 others were wounded and 6 houses were demolished in flooding in Turkey's southern province of Hatay, said Governor of Hatay. In case of the possibility that there could be missing people, a search and rescue helicopter of General Staff as well as an ambulance helicopter of Health Ministry were sent to the region, according to the Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD). Helicopters have started their search in the region, where AFAD's rescue teams from Adana city were also sent to help.
