An unidentified attacker randomly opened fire in a bazaar in Balochistan's central Kandahar, causing 2 dead and 3 wounded. Frequent armed attacks occur between the minority group Shiah Hazaras, an Iranian ethno-linguistic group and Sunni Beluches in southwestern Pakistan.
