At least 77 people were killed on Monday in several cities across Syria by the Syrian regime, activists said.

Assad forces killed 18 in the suburbs of Damascus, 15 in Hama, 14 in Aleppo, 8 each in Daraa'a and Idlib, 7 in Homs, 5 in Raqqa, 1 each in Deir ez-Zor and Quneitra, according to the London-based Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), which tracks civilian and dissident casualties. A large number of civilians were also wounded while many houses were destroyed in the attacks.  Free Syrian Army forces, meanwhile, seized control of 4 villages in Ras al-Ayn.  Conflict resumes between the Free Syrian Army forces and regime forces, while the armed opposition suffered severe casualties in the suburbs of Aleppo and Damascus.  Furthermore, a number of armed groups including foreign nationals were neutralized during the regime's operations across various cities, Syria's state news agency (SANA) said.
