Turkey will consider the possibility of rendering support in construction of Military Institute in Bishkek. Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan Asanbek Alymkozhoev told journalists after a bilateral meeting with Turkish Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz.

"In Kyrgyzstan, there was never a military institute. There was an Institute in Almaty, where I studied, there is an institute in Tashkent, which exists for a very long time. The existing Military Institute in Bishkek earlier was just part of the flight. It cannot be a full-fledged Military Institute. So we said that we would be very happy if the Turkish side will assist in construction of modern Military Institute, so that we can train the best military personnel," said the Chief of the General Staff.

Recall that today two agreements and one protocol in the field of military cooperation was signed by Ministers of Defense of Kyrgyzstan Abibilla Kudaiberdiev and Turkey Ismet Yilmaz. In particular, the two sides signed the Agreement between the Governments of Turkey and the Kyrgyz Republic on training and cooperation in the field of military medicine; Agreement on military and financial cooperation.
