Tunisia: 39 killed, 34 injured in tourist hotel attack
An armed attack on a tourist hotel in Sousse, east Tunisia, left at least 39 people dead, including foreigners, and injured 36 others on Friday, the Tunisian Health Ministry said.

Tunisian Interior Minister secretary of state for security affairs, Rafik Chelli, said that the attack was organized by an university student who is from Kairouan city.

The Interior Ministery added that the ministry believed the number of casualties and injured could rise.

The attack comes after 21 foreign tourists were killed in a museum on March 18, 2015, at the hands of two armed militants in an operation Daesh later claimed responsibility for.
