Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said their basic desire was to maintain peace with Egypt where the army seized the control on July 3.

Talking to German "Welt am Sonntag", Netanyahu said, "I have said before that the radical Islamic regimes would fail due to the lack of essential integration power which is needed for economic, political and cultural development of a country" upon a question of "Is 'what we have seen in Egypt' a beginning of the end of the Islamist season in the region?" Netanyahu, stating that the world was in the middle of information and global economic revolution, claimed that the radical Islamic wave was doomed to failure because it was against the progressivism of modern era and regress to Middle Ages.  "Our basic desire is to maintain peace with Egypt in this turmoil," said Netanyahu and stated that peace agreement was the cornerstone to ensure the stability in the region.

The prime minister, touching upon Iranian-Israeli relations, said there was a "great discontentedness" in Iran, too.

Stating that they followed Iran's nuclear program closely, Netanyahu said "Iran must be evaluated with its deeds not with its smile. Decide whether Iran meets the requirements of international community or not."

He also claimed that Iran was very close to complete the critical stage which was "enrichment stage" as part of its nuclear program.

"The tactic that Rowhani undertook is just a trick to deceive the West" said Netanyahu by adding "Iran must be disallowed to play this game."
