British post-punk band ‘Idles’ to perform in Türkiye for the first time
Idles, who became the symbol of post-punk with hit songs such as "Never Fight A Man With A Perm", "Danny Denelko" and "Damaged Goods", are preparing to give a concert in Türkiye for the first time.
Idles, one of the best representatives of the British post-punk genre, will meet music lovers in Türkiye for the first time. The famous band had become popular with their performances at famous festivals such as Lolapalooza, Roskilde, Glastonbury, and Osheaga.
Formed in 2009 in Bristol and considered as one of the most successful rock bands of the recent period, the band will give a concert in Türkiye’s Istanbul on November 27.
The band, which managed to become one of the cult names of post-punk in a short time and sold out their concerts as soon as they went on sale, will give their fans a night honoring post-punk at Zorlu PSM. Following their Welcome and Meat EPs, the band made an impact in the rock music world with their 2017 album Brutalism.
