EU approves 10th package of sanctions against Russia
EU countries agreed on a new package of sanctions against Russia, following the 1st anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine War. The sanctions included new trade bans against Russia, export controls on products and technologies that could be used for both civilian and military purposes, and additional restrictions on unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) shippers. The new package is thought to be a message to Russia and to Iran, which allegedly sent drones.
While Russia's invasion attempt against Ukraine continues, another package of sanctions has been announced from the USA to the Moscow administration. In a post on the social media account of EU Term President Sweden, "One year has passed since Russia's brutal occupation in Ukraine. Today, the EU has approved the 10th package of sanctions against Russia."
STRONG MEASURE WARNING TO PERSONS AND INSTITUTIONS SUPPLYING UAV
While it was stated that the new sanctions package would impose more export restrictions on dual use and technology, it was emphasized that tougher measures would be applied to individuals and institutions that support the war, spread propaganda and supply Russia with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used in the war.

While it was stated that measures will also be taken against Russian disinformation within the 10th sanctions package adopted by the EU, "EU countries have implemented the strongest and most comprehensive sanctions ever to help Ukraine win the war.
