Borsa İstanbul announced that it has decided to suspend stock market transactions.
Borsa İstanbul's announcement regarding the suspension of transactions was published on the Public Disclosure Platform. In the statement, "It has been decided to stop the transactions in the Equity Market and Futures and Options Market equity index derivative markets." were included.
Today, Index-Linked Circuit Breaker System operated at 10.12.01 and 10.42.31 hours, respectively, after the decline in the BIST 100 index exceeded the 5 percent and 7 percent limits.
After the Index Connected Circuit Breaker System started operating for the second time, the transactions were completely stopped with the announcement made by Borsa İstanbul.
