Oil stocks in US gradually decreasing: EIA

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced that commercial crude oil stocks fell in the country. US commercial crude oil stocks fell by about 6 million 100 thousand barrels last week compared to the previous week.

Commercial crude oil stocks in the United States (US) decreased by about 6 million 100 thousand barrels last week to 433 million 500 thousand barrels. However, market expectations were that stocks would decrease by 2 million 418 thousand barrels, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced.

Strategic crude oil stocks, which are not included in commercial crude oil stocks, increased by approximately 600 thousand barrels to 348 million 900 thousand barrels.

In that period, US gasoline stocks increased by 1 million 500 thousand barrels to 217 million 600 thousand barrels.
