United States (US) President Joe Biden and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met. After the meeting, US-based aircraft manufacturer Boeing signed a 7.8 billion dollar deal with Vietnam Airlines. With this, Biden said he looked forward to seeing Cninh at the United Nations General Assembly meetings to be held in New York at the end of September.

United States (US) President Joe Biden and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh announced in their meeting that US-based aircraft manufacturer Boeing signed a 7.8 billion dollar deal with Vietnam Airlines, which they welcomed.

WRITTEN STATEMENT MADE

According to a written statement made by the White House, Biden met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Chinh during his visit to Vietnam. The two discussed the comprehensive strategic partnership between the US and Vietnam and also evaluated mutual investment opportunities.

BIG DEAL SIGNED

Biden and Chinh noted that Boeing and Vietnam airports signed a new 7.8 billion dollar deal, which they welcomed. During the meeting, Biden said he looked forward to seeing Cninh at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meetings to be held in New York at the end of September.
