It has been reported that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has taken legal action against Brian Molko, the soloist of British music group Placebo, for insulting her during a concert in Turin last month.
Molko, who took the stage at the music festival in Sonic Park on July 11, started speaking Italian in front of 5 thousand people, using the phrases "racist" and "fascist" for Prime Minister Meloni.
Later, the Turin Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation against Molko for insulting state officials.
According to Italian news sources, Meloni's lawyers reportedly filed a defamation and defamation lawsuit against the famous singer.
On the other hand, this is not the first defamation lawsuit filed by an Italian politician. Last year, Meloni sued two journalists working for the local newspaper for the statements they used in their news.
