Swedish progressive metal band Soen will give a concert in Türkiye’s Istanbul on September 3, as part of their "Atlantis Live" named European tour, according to the band's official website.
In addition to the songs titled "Antagonist", "Monarch" and "Jinn" from the album "Atlantis" accompanied by the orchestra, they will also perform the song "Snuff" adapted from the band Slipknot at the concert, the statement said.
The band members will be accompanied by string instruments and backing vocals.
Soen was formed in 2010 by vocalist Joel Ekelof, drummer Martin Lopez, and bass guitarist Steve di Giorgio.
Later, guitarists Cody Fory and Lars Ahlund joined the band, while Oleksii Kobel took over the bass guitar after Di Giorgio left the band.
The band Soen, who released the albums "Cognitive" (2012), "Tellurian" (2014), "Lykaia" (2017), "Lotus" (2019), and "Imperial" (2021), shot music videos for the songs "Unbreakable", "Memorial" and "Violence" from their latest album.
Soen shared the same stage with Turkish singer Fuat Guner from the MFO group which is the very oldest band in Türkiye at the Istanbul concert held in 2022 and sang the song "Vurgun Yedim".
