The collection of Balmain, the famous French luxury fashion house founded by Pierre Balmain, to be exhibited at the Paris Fashion Week, which will be held between September 25 and October 3, was stolen. Fashion House Director Oliver Rousteing, in a statement on his social media account, shared how the dramatic event took place and stated that they will bring the missing pieces to the fashion week.
50 pieces of the 2024 Spring/Summer collection that Balmain, one of the world's most famous clothing brands, will exhibit at Paris Fashion Week, were stolen.
Fashion House Director Olivier Rousteing announced on his Instagram account that his collection, which is his own design and will be showcased for the first time at the fashion week, was stolen. Rousteing stated that the truck carrying the collection was stopped by unknown persons near the airport in Paris at midnight, that the 50-piece collection was stolen after the driver was beaten, and that he would re-prepare the usurped pieces and bring them to the Paris Fashion Week.
According to the French press, the collection was stolen 10 days before the fashion show was designed for the 2024 Spring / Summer season.
