Warnings continue about a possible conflict between NATO and Russia.

The military alliance says that it provides arms support to Ukraine and that it is not directly involved in the conflicts.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto warned NATO countries not to engage in direct conflict with Russia.

'LEADS TO ANOTHER WORLD WAR'

Szijjarto, who met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels, said:

"In the current situation, NATO does not go to war in our immediate environment. Now like this. But a direct conflict between NATO and Russia leads to another world war."

'SHOULD BE RESOLVED BY PEACEFUL WAYS'

The Hungarian government said it would not send weapons to Kyiv after the start of the conflict in Ukraine, and called for the problem to be resolved only by peaceful means.

THEY REFUSE TO SEND ARMS TO UKRAINE

Szijjarto reiterated this stance at the European Union Foreign Ministers' meeting in Brussels.

The Hungarian Foreign Minister stated that his country refused to participate in the co-financing of the supply of ammunition to the Ukrainian army.
