Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitriy Peskov made statements to journalists in the capital Moscow on current issues. Referring to the explosions that took place in the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines last year, Peskov said that it is a positive development that the Danish Energy Agency invited Nord Stream 2 AG, the executive company of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project, to participate in the process of removing an object next to the line from the sea.
"Determining what kind of object this is and whether it is related to a terrorist act is critical within the framework of the investigation. The investigation should be inclusive and transparent in terms of the participation of all relevant parties in the process," Peskov said.
Evaluating the actions of the USA regarding other countries, Peskov said, "Of course, the US continues to intervene directly and indirectly in the internal affairs of other countries, including Belarus."
Emphasizing that this should be taken into account, Peskov noted that Belarus has enough strength to counter it.
