The Kremlin responded to Kilicdaroglu's claims about Russia

According to the Ihlas News Agency, Presidential Candidate of the Nation Alliance Kemal Kilicdaroglu said on his social media account in Turkish and Russian, "Dear Russian friends, you are behind the montages, plots, Deep Fake content and tapes that were spread out in this country yesterday."

Kilicdaroglu continued, "If you want our friendship to continue after May 15, get rid of the Turkish state. We are still in favor of cooperation and friendship."

Kilicdaroglu received a response from Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitriy Peskov at the press conference held in Moscow on Friday. Peskov denounced them and denied the statements, saying that he did not know the reasoning of the allegations, Anadolu reported.

"If anyone gives such information to Presidential Candidate Kilicdaroglu, they are liars," he said.

Emphasizing that Russia values its relations with Türkiye and therefore does not have such a goal, Russian Spokesperson said, “Türkiye has displayed a very responsible, sovereign and thoughtful stance in all regional and global problems we have encountered so far. A country that places great value on bilateral relations would not do such a thing against its own partner," he said.

Peskov emphasized that they do not interfere in the internal affairs and electoral systems of foreign countries, as he had previously stated.
