North Korea warns the US and Japan

According to North Korea's Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), the US is trying to form a military bloc in the Asia-Pacific region. Kim Sol-hwa, from the Japan Studies Institute of the North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that NATO's plan to open a liaison office in Tokyo for the first time in Asia is one of the examples of Japan's "secret alliance" with NATO.

Stating that Japan's military ties with NATO cause "great concerns" in the international community, Kim claimed that the US is behind the rapprochement between Japan and NATO, and in this way, it tries to maintain its "hegemony" in the Asia-Pacific region by creating an Asian version of NATO.

Kim emphasized that it is a well-known secret that the United States is trying to create a military bloc in the Asia-Pacific region after World War II, under the pretext of "protecting the Western countries from aggression by communist countries".

A STERN WARNING HAS GIVEN

Stating that the US is trying to link the two countries with NATO by "include" Japan and South Korea in cooperation blocs, Kim pointed out that this is an indication that the US is trying to put China and Russia under a great siege.

Kim denounced Japan for trying to become NATO's "military giant" as one with the United States and warned that "Tokyo will face a second destruction as long as it continues to maintain such military ties with foreigners".

Japan's Ambassador to Washington, Tomita Koji, announced that NATO plans to open a liaison office in Tokyo in order to strengthen cooperation with his country.
