GREEK FOREIGN MINISTER GOT STEPPED IN

Many Greek journalists reacted harshly to the fact that Eastern Aegean islands such as Rhodes, Kos and Chios were shown on the map in Türkiye's constituency.

According to information obtained from diplomatic sources, Greek Ambassador to Paris Dimitrios Zevelakis, upon the instruction of Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, sent a letter to the newspaper management, demanding that the error on the map be corrected, and it was stated that "the map was removed" thereupon.

While the map was prepared by the Le Monde graphics department, Anadolu Agency was cited as the source of the election content.
