Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continues his bilateral meetings within the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.
After meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Erdogan met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau following the North Atlantic Council Meeting. Lastly, President Erdogan held a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Ihlas reported.
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Head of National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Ibrahim Kalin, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, President of Defense Industries Haluk Gorgun and Presidential Chief Advisor Ambassador Akif Cagatay Kilic accompanied President Erdogan during the meeting.
Erdogan is also expected to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and his meeting with US President Joe Biden is expected to start at 6:00 p.m.
