In a post on his social media account, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Arkadiusz Mularczyk assessed the latest situation between Poland and Ukraine.
He recalled that on Tuesday, Polish Ambassador to Kyiv Bartosz Cichowski was summoned to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry over comments by Marcin Przydacz, Chief Foreign Policy Advisor to Polish President Andrzej Duda, that Ukraine should show more gratitude for the support it receives from Poland.
"Poland did not hesitate to help Ukraine when others were waiting for its destruction. Unfortunately, today some people in Kiev forget this. Such mistakes must not be made,” Mularczyk said.
Mularczyk pointed out that the Polish Foreign Ministry also summoned the Ukrainian Ambassador to Warsaw.
In addition to this Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki also empahsized this situation.
"The summoning of the Polish Ambassador to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry should never have happened,"Morewiecki said on his social media account.
